Special Presentation
Join Dan Bigham and Alex Dowsett for a special evening exploring the evolution of time trialling and aero technology. Best of all, it’s free.
With food and drink available, this engaging session looks back at the key moments that shaped the sport, from Tour de France breakthroughs to Hour Record bikes, alongside an exhibition of time trial machines through the decades.
Drawing on their experience at the highest level, Dan and Alex will share how equipment and performance have evolved, what’s driven innovation, and what the future of time trialling could look like. The evening ends with an open Q&A, giving you the chance to ask your own questions.
TT Reunion
We’re bringing together the biggest ever display of time trial bikes, from early fixed-wheel machines to the drilled specials of the 60s, short wheelbase designs of the 70s, and carbon bikes of the 80s and 90s.
Time trialling was at the heart of the sport from the 50s through to the 90s, and we hope to create a true reunion of riders, bikes, memorabilia and stories, bringing together an incredible collection of historic machines and past champions.
Our special guests, former Hour Record holders Dan Bigham and Alex Dowsett, will be riding, chatting and sharing their passion for the sport. They’ll also be bringing along some of their own iconic machines.
Camping
Why not make a full weekend of it? Pitch up, kick back and enjoy a weekend of cycling and good craic with fellow riders.
With riding across both days and plenty happening off the bike, staying onsite lets you soak up the full festival atmosphere, from the first riders rolling out to the last conversations of the evening.
Camping is organised by our hosts at Trinit Park and available from Friday to Sunday with full modern facilities, making it easy to arrive, settle in and be part of it all.

You might uncover a bargain, track down that elusive component, or simply enjoy a proper rummage through cycling history. It is all part of the weekend at the Pedal Suffolk Festival.

— Special Guests
RIDING WITH THE BEST
We are excited to have some special guests joining us on Saturday at Pedal Suffolk. Like all of us, they are both passionate about all things cycling and will be joining us to view the exhibits, chat to guests and ride with us!
On Saturday evening, there will also be a FREE presentation in our marquee with an open Q&A session, discussing how technology has transformed our sport and hobby – bikes, kit and riding. Everything has evolved except our shared passion for riding!
Dan Bigham
We’re thrilled to welcome Dan Bigham, one of the most innovative and accomplished figures in modern time trialling. A former World Hour Record holder, European Champion and Olympic medallist, Dan has competed — and succeeded — at the very highest level of the sport.
With a background in engineering and a relentless focus on aerodynamics and marginal gains, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of cutting-edge time trial technology within elite cycling. Now, Head of Engineering at Red Bull-BORA-Hansgrohe, Dan works to make some of the sports top athletes even faster, including current world TT champion, Remco Evenepoel, who he’ll be working with at the Tour de France shortly after joining us at the Pedal Suffolk Festival!
Ride with Dan on Saturday and join him afterwards at the PedalRetro show, where he’ll be showcasing some of his own bikes in our show arena. In the evening join us for a FREE presentation and Q&A, where he’ll share his insights on how time trial bikes — and the sport itself — have transformed over the decades.
Alex Dowsett
We’re delighted to be joined by CAMS Ambassador, Alex Dowsett, one of Britain’s most accomplished and recognisable time trial specialists. A multiple-time National Time Trial Champion and former World Hour Record holder, Alex has competed at the very highest level of professional cycling, riding the Tour de France earning stage victories in races such as the Giro D’Italia and representing his country on the world stage.
Renowned for his commitment to the discipline of time trialling, Alex has witnessed first-hand the rapid evolution of equipment, aerodynamics and performance science. Alex now works for top flight team XDS Astana as a Performance Engineer, optimising the teams TT performances.
He’ll be riding alongside participants in Saturday’s road sportives before taking part in our evening presentation and Q&A, discussing how time trial bikes have developed through the decades — perfectly fitting our exhibition celebrating the largest collection of time trial bikes through the ages.
