WHY RIDE WITH TPR EVENTS
Thoughtfully organised events that feel every bit as good as the route itself.
From the first signpost to the finish line, all TPR events are built around inclusivity, quality, atmosphere, value for money and the kind of details riders actually notice on the day.
Properly signed routes
Clear, well-planned routes shaped by local knowledge, so you can focus on the ride rather than second-guessing every turn.
Food, drink & rider support
Well-stocked stops, friendly volunteers, and mechanical support out on the route to keep you fuelled and moving.
Memories worth keeping
Bespoke medals, rider plaques, event photography and those little finishing touches that make the day feel special. Also, courtesy of our friends at Adnams, all riders receive a FREE can of Adnams too!
Great venues and locations
From iconic start locations to scenic countryside routes, the setting is always part of what makes the experience memorable.
Family-run, rider-led
We ride the routes ourselves and care about the details. That hands-on approach creates a genuinely welcoming, rider-first atmosphere.
Not-for-profit, community focused
Every entry helps fund future events and local cycling initiatives, keeping the focus on riders, not shareholders.
Built by riders, backed by volunteers, and designed to leave you already thinking about the next one.
tpr fair pricing
As a long-standing, family-run Community Interest Company, we pride ourselves on delivering not just a great event day experience, but exceptional value for money. Unlike many, we don’t charge admin fees, hydration and feed stops are included, event photography is free, and our medals are always bespoke to each event and year.
We do everything we can to protect you from rising venue and running costs, which is why we’ve kept almost all events at 2025 prices when you enter using our Early-Bird Discount (available up to 6 weeks before the event). At this point we commit to ordering medals and consumables, and all remaining entries will increase by £2.
We don’t offer entries on the day if an event sells out, and we never oversell, so please enter early, secure your place, and help us make this the best event yet for both you and us.

Designed to be both competitive and accessible, with multiple age and gender categories, the Holkham Trophy welcomes everyone from serious racers chasing podiums to riders simply taking on the course, testing their limits, and experiencing the thrill of gravel racing for the first time… no race licence required.
Whether you are racing others, racing yourself, or riding purely for the challenge, every rider has a place on the start line.
The overall male and female champions will lift the inaugural Holkham Trophy, while every finisher will earn an exclusive Holkham Trophy medal to mark their achievement.

— THE COURSE BREAKDOWN
FAST. FLOWING. DECEPTIVELY TOUGH.
A gravel race where speed, positioning and smart pacing matter just as much as power. From open estate sections to rolling resistance and race-defining fatigue, here’s what riders can expect from the Holkham Trophy course.
Course Character & Flow
This is a fast, flowing gravel circuit rather than a technical survival course. Making it perfect for riders of all abilites and experience levels.
Wide estate gravel roads
Firm hardpack surfaces
Smooth woodland tracks
Open exposed sections across parkland
Minimal tight technical singletrack
The circuit should favour sustained power and positioning rather than technical bike handling, but if it rains, expect some mud!
Elevation & Effort Profile
Holkham isn’t mountainous, but don’t mistake flat for easy.
Likely features:
Rolling resistance terrain rather than steep climbing
Draggy false flats that sap legs over repeated laps
Subtle rises that become decisive late in the race
Selection factor: Accumulated fatigue, not punchy climbs.
By lap 4–5, the course will feel significantly harder than lap 1.
Wind & Exposure
This is potentially the biggest race factor.
Open estate sections mean:
Crosswinds possible
Gaps can open quickly if riders are poorly positioned
Race dynamics: This course rewards riding smart – riders who understand positioning will gain advantage.
Pit & Support
With pit and feed/hydration stations at Race HQ and the far side of the circuit:
- TPR Events Mechanical support & broom wagon available
Riders are never far from assistance
Quick mechanical resolution reduces DNFs
Strategic wheel swaps possible
This is a race-friendly, rider-first setup.
