Come and enjoy a tour of the heartlands of Suffolk from the spacious arena at Trinity Park, Ipswich ideally situated just off the A14 and A12. There are no dual carriageways or highways on this tour of Suffolk however, as we head out of our private rear gate and meander through some of its quieter and less trodden paths and villages en-route to clocking up to 100 miles.

With routes of 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles, there’s something for everyone, no matter your experience or bike type. Each route is fully signposted, risk-assessed, and supported by the friendly TPR Events team.

Longer routes include a complimentary lunch, and all riders enjoy free hydration and snack stations. Expect cyclists of all kinds—road bikes, e-bikes, tandems, and more—celebrating Norfolk’s stunning countryside.

The Pedal Suffolk Sportive is part of the Pedal Suffolk Festival, a weekend of cycling celebration. Over 2 days, we will have something for everyone;

  • 75 Mile

  • 50 Mile

  • 25 Mile

*Provisonal routes, subject to change once we have ridden and tested them.

100 Mile Route

An epic day out on your bike and one to remember as you pedal into the Suffolk lanes through our private cyclist-only Foxhall gate.

Head north to Ashbocking before continuing through Coddenham to our first drink stop with homemade nibbles at Winston Village Hall. We ride on through Debenham (where the 50-mile route splits) and continue north via Eye and Hoxne. After Stradbrooke, we stop for lunch at Brundish just before the 75-mile riders depart.

The route then leads through Metfield and Peasenhall to another refreshment stop at Bruisyard Village Hall (or the nearby vineyard). Heading south, we enjoy a stunning view of Framlingham Castle across the mere, regrouping with the 75-mile riders for a celebratory loop around the town. Next is Easton—home to thatched roundhouses and superb Crinkle Crankle walls—where the 50-mile riders rejoin.

We return to Trinity Park via Wickham Market, Melton and Woodbridge, briefly meeting the 25-mile group again before re-entering the park through the cyclist-only Martlesham route. The 100-mile course is suitable for any bike you’re comfortable riding all day, with quiet lanes, flowing B-roads and short stretches of busier roads. Expect full support with free drinks, lunch and homemade nibbles throughout.

25 Mile Route

An enjoyable leisurely ride with like minded riders.  A great way to get started in cycling events and you can take all day to complete the distance at your leisure after the longer rides have left and sped away.

We follow their path until just before Ashbocking where we will turn right towards the absolutely beautiful village of Grundisburgh. Our routes passes the village green where you can stop and enjoy a traditional village centre and perhaps ride through the two fords if you are feeling adventurous!

We have laid on a refreshment stop with nibbles at Little Bealings which is motivationally nicesly over half way meaning its a shorter second half to the ride back into Trinity Park without busy roads via the cyclist-only rear gate.
