The Pedal Norfolk Sportive opens up a North Norfolk cycling paradise of quieter lanes and roads, historic unspoilt villages and glorious coastline all under big wide open Norfolk skies. 

With routes of 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles, there’s something for everyone, no matter your experience or bike type. Each route is fully signposted, risk-assessed, and supported by the friendly TPR Events team.

Longer routes include a complimentary lunch, and all riders enjoy free hydration and snack stations. Expect cyclists of all kinds—road bikes, e-bikes, tandems, and more—celebrating Norfolk’s stunning countryside.

The Pedal Norfolk Sportive is part of the Pedal Norfolk Festival, a weekend of cycling celebration. Over 2 days, we will have something for everyone;

ROUTES

At TPR Events, we’re dedicated to creating the best routes for riders to enjoy. Every route is carefully plotted, analysed, risk-assessed, tested, and fully signposted, giving you the confidence to ride with peace of mind. Plus, all routes will be available to download as GPX files, providing turn-by-turn directions on your phone or GPS device. GPX files will be available a few days before the event, after our final checks for road closures and obstructions.

For Pedal Norfolk Sportive 2026, we’ve crafted 4 exciting routes to offer something for every rider:

  • 100 Mile

  • 75 Mile

  • 50 Mile

  • 25 Mile

*Provisonal routes, subject to change once we have ridden and tested them.

100 Mile Route

The Pedal Norfolk Sportive is based at the prestigious Holkham Hall estate where you will exit via the private South Drive and gate before exploring the rural lanes towards Holt. A drink stop at Baconsthorpe awaits you before turning west for Briston and Thursford and lunch at Hindringham. Then its south through Hindolveston and Great Ryburgh before afternoon tea stop at Tittleshall. With the 50’s and 75’s rejioned we head home via Great Bircham and Stanhoe. 

Expect lots of beautiful villages, rolling North Norfolk lanes and big open skies and don’t be fooled by thinking all Norfolk is flat, the 100 takes in some lovely “lumpy” Norfolk lanes and byways!

75 Mile Route

We follow the 100 until Great Snoring where we dart westwards to join the 50 and 25 enroute to South Creake and then Syderstone to rejoin the 100. 

Expect lots of beautiful villages, rolling North Norfolk lanes and big open skies and don’t be fooled by thinking all Norfolk is flat, the 100 takes in some lovely “lumpy” Norfolk lanes and byways!

50 Mile Route

We follow the 100 until Langham where we head south heading for Little and Great Walsingham. A shared drink stop with the 75 and 25 routes at South Creake and then follow the 75s to region the 100s via Syderstone.

25 Mile Route

Our 25 is a cracker of a ride. We leave the estate with the longer rides and follow them until Binham (wonderful cheese and deli’s). We join the 50 and then 75 route westward to our drink stop at South Creake and then northwards to North Creake to join the longer routes home. 

There is lots to see and enjoy so take your time and spend all day enjoying North Norfolk.

We’ve created a checklist of often forgotten items to bring, ensuring you have everything you need to get the most out of your day!

While we have a mechanical support team and broom wagon available to aid you on the road, we also recommend you are as self-sufficient as possible.

FAQS

Yes, eBikes that conform to UK law are allowed on all TPR Events. Anything that gets you riding is great :) 

We have multiple broom wagon and mechanical support vehicles available to help you on the road – as well as first aiders at HQ.

All riders get free drinks and snacks at all stops.
